JCHS Girls Basketball Coach Selected

JUNCTION CITY, KAN. – Junction City High School has selected Mr. Tim Testa as the new Lady Jays Basketball Coach. Testa is currently the head Track and Cross Country coach at Southwestern College.  He will begin teaching in the Physical Education Department at the Junction City High School at the start of the 2019-2020 school year.

Testa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pittsburg State University (2011).  Tim returns back to Junction City where he competed for the Blue Jays in multiple sports.  Prior to his coaching opportunities at Southwestern College, Tim taught physical education in USD 475 at Junction City Middle School and coached boys basketball, track and cross country at both the middle and high school levels.

Tim and his wife Lexi have two sons Anthony (10) and Alex (8).

Students, families and the community will be able to meet Coach Testa on  Thursday, April 25th from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Junction City High School.  Prior to the meet and greet for students, Tim will meet with local media at 6:30 pm.
