The Blue Jay Tennis Team competed in the Centennial League Tournament on Monday. Nolan Rothfuss and Mason Richards led the Blue Jays with an 8th place finish in doubles going 3-3 on the day. The other doubles team of Albert Caba and Erik Mitchell finished 2-3 doubles. In singles, Kody Westerhaus earned 9th place with a 4-2 record. Aaron Reutzel was the other singles competitor. Overall, Manhattan won the team title, with Junction City finishing in 8th place. The Blue Jay tennis team next travels to Topeka this Friday as they take part in the 6A regional tennis tournament. Matches will be held at the Kossover Tennis Center and begin at 10 am.
